At the close of business on May 2, 2007, KMC Holdings LLC, acquired the operating assets of Kennedy Manufacturing Company. Effective with the sale, Kennedy Manufacturing Company ceased operations. KMC Holdings LLC, which is controlled by JVA Partners, Inc. of Chicago, will continue to operate under the Kennedy and Blue Bell Bio-Medical brands, maintaining operations in Van Wert, Ohio.
